Hoil Kim serves as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Hardinge Inc since 2024, overseeing legal matters for a global machine tool leader in the aerospace, automotive, and semiconductor sectors. Previously, Hoil Kim held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Advanced Material Solutions LLC (2021-2024), leading technology licensing and negotiation efforts with a diverse international client base. Additionally, Hoil Kim worked as Portfolio Company Chief Legal Officer and Legal Advisor at New Mountain Capital, providing legal guidance on significant acquisition transactions. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Legal Officer at Ciox Health, Chief Administrative Officer and general counsel at GT Advanced Technologies, and Vice President of Strategic Development and General Counsel at Cabot Corporation. Hoil Kim holds a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from Yale University and a J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, as well as further education from the University of Oxford, London Business School, and Harvard Business School.
