Solomon Blaz has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Solomon is currently working as a Software Engineer at Forj since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Web Courseworks as a Software Engineer from August 2022 to January 2023.
From 2015 to 2022, Solomon worked at Propeller Health. Initially, they served as a Software Engineer from October 2015 to May 2022. Later, they were promoted to the role of Manager of Platform Services from July 2018 to May 2022.
Before joining Propeller Health, Solomon worked at Solomon Blaz Software LLC - Department of Veterans Affairs from September 2001 to March 2015. Solomon served as a Full Stack Developer and Co-Lead, working on various contracts to enhance and modernize the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) and Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) ecosystem. Solomon was highly appreciated for their design skills and system-level thinking.
Prior to that, Solomon co-founded Big Idea Interactive LLC in 2000. Solomon served as a Co-Founder and Principal Software Developer, where they designed and authored an interactive audio engine for the video game industry. Solomon also worked as a Contract Audio Software Developer at Solomon Blaz Software LLC - Kodiak Entertainment during the same time period.
Solomon began their career as an Audio Software Developer at SingleTrac Studios in 1998, where they integrated music and sound effects in video games and refactored interactive music and sound engines. Solomon has also worked as a Software Engineer at Evans & Sutherland from 1997 to 1998.
Solomon Blaz graduated from Cornell University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Solomon pursued a double major in Applied and Engineering Physics as well as Computer Science during their time at the university.
