Rick Hassman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rick is currently the Head of Growth at Forge, where they focus on solving the problems caused by the disappearing trades workforce by building a private trade school and hiring and training the next-generation trades workers. Prior to this, Rick served as the Chief Executive Officer at Lean Tech Advisors, specializing in digital business transformations and providing counsel on technology projects. Rick also worked at Doculabs as the Practice Lead for Supply Chain Management & Manufacturing, where they specialized in driving efficiencies within operations through technology and process improvements. Rick's previous experience includes roles such as Vice President of Business Strategy at Workiva, where they developed strategies to penetrate a new market segment, and Vice President of NA Customer Advocacy at Oracle, where they transformed the customer advocacy focus within the consulting organization. Rick also held various roles at Pella Corporation, including Chief Information Officer, where they focused on aligning IT with business strategy, and at Ertl Toys, where they served as a Plant Manager and was involved in project management and organizational turnaround. Rick has a strong track record of success in driving value, implementing lean methodologies, and leveraging technology to achieve business transformation objectives.
Rick Hassman obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business from Central College between the years 1985 and 1989. Later, between 1991 and 1994, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Drake University.
