Maria L Escolar, MD, MS obtained their MD and Surgery degree from Escuela Colombiana de Medicina in 1986. Maria L then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Nutrition from Columbia University, completing it in 1989. Maria L continued their education at Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where they completed their residency and fellowship in General Pediatrics, with a specialization in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained another Master of Science (MS) in Human Nutrition from Columbia University at an unspecified time.
