John Regas has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. John started their career in 2008 at the University of Florida, working in Marketing and Corporate Partnerships. John later joined IMG as a Sports Marketing Executive in 2009. In 2010, they became an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they served as the Director of Athletics at Franklin Community Schools. John then worked as the Director of Partnership Services at the Pro Football Hall of Fame from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they joined the Hall of Fame Resort and Entertainment Company as the Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships, a role they held until 2022. In 2022, they became the Director of Strategic Partnerships at ForeverLawn, Inc. and in 2023, they became a Board Member of the Greater Columbus Sports Commission.
John Regas has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Sport Management, from Malone University. John also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Ohio University. In addition, John has a Master of Sport Administration (MSA) degree from Ohio University, specializing in Sport Administration/Management.
