Nica Durandisse is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in mental health therapy and case planning. Currently serving as a Trauma System Therapy (TST) Therapist at Forestdale, Inc. since July 2020, Nica has previously worked as a Case Planner at Community Mediation Services - NYC, focusing on families and children at risk of abuse and neglect. Nica's earlier roles include Mental Health Therapist positions at both Western Queens Consultation Center and Steinway Child And Family Services, providing psychotherapy and play therapy to diverse age groups. Nica's career began as a Case Planner and Family Therapist at Steinway Child & Family Services, followed by a role as a Crime Victim Specialist at Jamaica Service Program for Older Adults, where direct services were provided to victims of crime. Nica holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance University and a Bachelor of Science from City University of New York-York College.
