Susan Alden Weingardt is a seasoned professional in the field of partnerships and event planning, currently serving as Senior Partnership Liaison at Forest Trends Association since November 2021, where activities include developing innovative partnerships related to the Wildfire Crisis. Since June 2021, Susan has also contributed to the U.S. Forest Service as Event Planner and Partnership Specialist, focusing on the centennial celebration of the Gila Wilderness and developing a national outreach campaign for national forests. Prior experiences include serving as Partnership Consultant for Colorado Parks and Wildlife and holding various partnership-related roles with the U.S. Forest Service from 1989 to 2019, where responsibilities encompassed collaboration with entities on recreation, conservation, and educational initiatives. Educational qualifications include an MS in Recreation Resources Planning and Management and a BS in Landscape Design and Construction from Colorado State University.
