Thomas Plaza has extensive experience in quality inspection, with current responsibilities as a Quality Inspector at Forest City Gear since January 2024, focusing on first piece, in-process, and CMM inspection. Prior to this role, Thomas held similar positions at Smith & Richardson MFG Co from September 2019 to December 2023, overseeing multiple inspection stages and customer certification processes. Thomas also has a solid foundation in quality assurance from tenure at Aurora Bearing Company, where responsibilities included final inspections and CMM operations. Earlier work experience includes managerial duties in retail at Walmart and technical roles in electrical and HVAC installations. Thomas's background is further supported by service as an Engineman in the US Navy from October 1990 to October 1993 and a high school diploma from Oswego High School.
