Ian Tong, MD, currently serves as an Executive Board Member at the Family Caregiver Alliance / National Center on Caregiving and as the Chief Clinical Officer at Foresite Labs since October 2022. Previously, Ian Tong held roles at Included Health as both Health Tech Advisor and Chief Medical Officer, and at Doctor On Demand as Chief Medical Officer, overseeing clinical quality, strategy, operations, research, and medical affairs. Ian Tong's academic contributions include serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and mentoring medical students. With an extensive background in social medicine and community health at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Ian Tong has been involved in various initiatives related to veterans' outreach and telemedicine. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
