Thomas G. Martin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Thomas G. is the Co-Founder of American Legal Technology, a role they took on in April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the CEO and Founder of LawDroid since November 2016. Thomas also contributed to ARAG Legal as a Technology Innovation Committee Member starting in April 2017, and they served as an Advisor to the ATJ Tech Fellows Program during the same period. Before venturing into legal technology, Thomas held the position of CEO/President at Foresight Legal Group, P.C., a progressive law firm leveraging technology to provide affordable legal services. Thomas G. founded LawDeal in 2012, offering free DIY legal documents. Thomas began their legal career as an Attorney in private practice from June 1998 to March 2006. Additionally, they served as a Board Member for the Group Legal Services Association from August 2016 to November 2021.
Thomas G. Martin has a diverse education history. In 1989, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Yale University. Following this, in 1993, they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law. During their time at Yale University, they also received a certificate in Italian Language and Culture from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 1992.
In 2011, Thomas G. Martin pursued further education in the field of Business Management and Marketing. Thomas G. completed a certificate program offered by Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program. Additionally, Thomas G. Martin graduated from St. Francis High School in La Canada, CA and received a diploma in 1989.
