Maureen A. currently serves as a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and holds the position of Senior Foreign Affairs Officer | Division Chief at the U.S. Department of State since January 2017, where prior roles included Foreign Affairs Officer and Political Officer focused on South Asia human rights. Notable awards include the Individual Superior Honor Award, Individual Meritorious Honor Award, and multiple Franklin Awards. In addition to ongoing commitments with the Pacific Forum and Foreign Policy for America, Maureen has contributed as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Arms Control Negotiation Academy and a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project. Maureen holds an MPA from NYU and a dual Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University, along with a Certificate in Arms Control Negotiation.
