Rafael Monteiro has extensive experience in technology and education, currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer and Diretor de Tecnologia e Inovação at Forebrain since September 2011. Previously, Rafael held the position of CTO at athention from July 2020 to September 2024 and served as a professor in the Computer Science course at Fundação Educacional Serra dos Órgãos from January 2002 to December 2021. Rafael's research experience includes working as a Pesquisador at Kognitus - Automação e Processamento de Imagens from August 2007 to September 2010. Rafael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UNIFESO, a Master’s degree in Informatics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Systems Engineering and Computing at the same institution. Additionally, Rafael earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Leadership, Innovation, and Management 4.0 from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul from February 2022 to April 2023.
