Jesper Anker Howes is currently the Head of Tax at Forca A/S, responsible for establishing the inaugural tax department in a company specializing in fund management services for Danish pension funds. With a robust academic background, Jesper serves as an Associate Professor of Tax Law at Copenhagen Business School, teaching various courses at both Bachelor's and Master's levels, and advising on theses. Previous roles include Director in the Tax practice group at Gorrissen Federspiel, Global Head of Tax at Maersk Tankers, and Senior Manager positions at EY and KPMG, focusing on international corporate tax, mergers and acquisitions, and tax audits within industries such as Private Equity and Oil & Gas. Jesper also has experience working at the Danish Ministry of Taxation, overseeing high-profile cases related to international tax. Jesper holds multiple degrees in law and tax, including a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen and advanced certifications from the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation.
