Li Zhang has a strong background in technology and digital transformation within the banking industry. They are currently serving as the EVP and Head of Digital Bank Technology at Forbright Bank since February 2023. Prior to this, Li held the position of VP Product, Data, and Technology at First Republic Bank, where they played a crucial role in the digital enablement of consumer lending business. They also worked as the SVP Customer Digital Experience at Texas Capital Bank, where they focused on enhancing digital capabilities and delivering exceptional digital experiences. Earlier in their career, Li held various managerial roles in different companies such as Asana, Brighthouse Financial, MetLife, American Express, Macquarie Bank, and Tyro Payments, where they gained valuable experience in program management, marketing capabilities, and sales capabilities.
Li Zhang completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Business Information Systems from Macquarie University between 2014 and 2018. In 2017, Li Zhang also obtained certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance. Li Zhang attended Analytics8 Business Intelligence Training in 2015, specializing in QlikView 11 Designer and QlikView 11 Developer. Additionally, Li Zhang received training in PRINCE2 Practitioner from Dimension Data Learning Solution in 2013 and in ITIL V3 Foundation in 2011. Furthermore, Li Zhang completed advanced development training in IT from Salesforce.com in 2010 and administration training in IT from Salesforce.com in 2009.
