Jochen Schwemmle has extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Jochen started their career as an Associate Consultant at Arthur D. Little in 1986 and later worked as a Business Development Associate at Eli Lilly and Company. Jochen then served as the Chief Financial Officer at Karl Wörwag Lack- und Farbenfabrik GmbH & Co KG for 12 years.
From 2007 to 2009, Schwemmle held the position of General Manager at BENSELER Beteiligungen GmbH & Co KG, where they were responsible for managing and directing six companies in the USA and Germany, focusing on financial and operational leadership.
In 2010, they founded their own company, Schwemmle Coaching & Consulting, where they held the role of Managing Director.
Following this, they joined Forbo Adhesives Deutschland GmbH in 2011 as General Manager Europe and Site Manager, overseeing business activities across Europe and achieving significant growth in revenue and profitability.
Currently, Schwemmle is working at Forbo Group as the Vice President of the Forbo Flooring Division and Executive Director of the Construction Chemicals Division. In this role, they are responsible for the overall business unit strategy, as well as managing sales, development, and production sites in Germany, the Netherlands, and Russia.
Jochen Schwemmle began their education at the Cooperative State University (DHBW) Mannheim, where they pursued a Bachelor/Dipl. Betriebswirt (BA) degree.
