Alicia Hallett-Chan is the Design Director at Forbes. Alicia has over fifteen years of experience in design and branding, and has been with Forbes for two years. Prior to their current position, Alicia was the Creative Director, T Brand Studio at The New York Times. During their four years there, they were responsible for setting the standard for visual branded content by pioneering innovative formats and creative approaches for 300+ campaigns with 200+ brands.
Alicia has a strong background in business development, and has used their skills to contribute to the growth of both The New York Times and Forbes. At The New York Times, they helped productize T Brand’s core branded content product, Paid Posts, to accommodate the rise in volume while maintaining high visual standards. Alicia also collaborated with UX, tech, design and product teams to spearhead the creation of a proprietary custom CMS for NYT’s advertising department. In their role at Forbes, they have continued to use their business development skills to help grow the company.
