Samika Karumuri has a diverse background in robotics, leadership, and software development. Currently, Samika serves as a Bowl Attendant at Main Event since June 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Systems Integration Specialist for the Huskie Robotics Team #3061 from May 2021 to May 2024, where responsibilities encompassed the integration of robot features and overseeing design workflow. Leadership roles include co-captain of the Girl’s Golf team at Naperville North High School, co-president of the Empower Club, and co-chair of the Youth Committee for the NRI Vasavi Association. Additional experience includes a Software Development Internship at CloudNuro.AI, private teaching in FIRST Lego League Robotics, and mentoring roles within FIRST competitions. Samika is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, building on a strong foundation established at Naperville North High School.
