Maria Ventura-Jordan is an experienced Family Support Specialist at Foothill Family since April 2022, previously serving as a Family Service Worker at Children's Institute Inc from August 2013 to April 2022, where work focused on supporting low-income families in the South Los Angeles District of Watts. Earlier roles include serving as an Education Coordinator at CDI Head Start, where responsibilities involved staff training and compliance monitoring, and as a Behavior Therapist at Pediatric Minds Medical Center, addressing the needs of young patients with anxiety and autism. Additional experience includes positions as an Assistant at Thoreau and a Special Education Para Educator with Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District. Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Cal State Long Beach, earned between 2006 and 2008.
