Maura Heinbokel is a data analyst at Foodsteps. Maura has previously worked as a data scientist at Shubh Loans, where they built and implemented a mobile financial education program for first-time, low-income personal loan borrowers. Maura has also worked as an IDEX Global Fellow, where they participated in educational workshops and consulted for local organizations on projects in human-centered design and impact evaluation. Prior to that, they worked as a public sector strategy & analytics consultant at IBM. There, they led data scientists in the federal logistics agency and won the 2018 Manager's Choice Award for Excellence in Client Service. Maura has also composed a 30-page technical writing piece as co-lead writer on a federal proposal and researched and drafted a proposal for a white paper on international data privacy regulations.

Maura Heinbokel holds a MSc in Environmental Technology (Global Environmental Change and Policy Option) from Imperial College London, a Bachelor of Science - BS in Science, Technology and International Affairs from Georgetown University, and a degree from Instituci贸n Cat贸lica de Administraci贸n y Direcci贸n de Empresas (ICADE) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Maura also attended Westfield Senior High School.
