Joseph Schumaker, FCSI, is an accomplished entrepreneur and culinary expert with extensive experience in the food industry. As the Founder and CEO of FoodSpace since August 2015, Joseph leads efforts to incubate food businesses in Silicon Valley, fostering innovation and community among food startups. Previously, Joseph co-founded foodspace+co from August 2017 to September 2019, guiding initiatives to support the development of transformative food concepts. Joseph also founded Cosmopolitan Catering and served as Executive Sous Chef at Restaurant O, alongside experience as a Sous Chef at Patten University Cafe. Joseph holds an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy, obtained between 2004 and 2005.
