Stijn Fias is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in chemometrics, currently serving as Team Lead and Associate Data Scientist at Foodpairing AI since January 2022. Stijn Fias' previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO and at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and Marie Skłodowska-Curie outgoing fellow at the European Commission, where significant contributions were made to Conceptual Density Functional Theory (CDFT). Stijn Fias pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Quantum Chemistry at Ghent University, complementing academic credentials with a Bachelor's Degree in Law and a Master's Degree in Chemistry, both from Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, respectively.
