Laraine Knauss

Laraine Knauss, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in human resources and management roles. Laraine began their career in 1981 as a Teller, Trainer, and Customer Service representative at Farmers & Merchants National Bank. Laraine then worked as a Personnel Coordinator at Donnelley Rocappi, Inc. from 1985 to 1987. From 1987 to 2002, they served as the Human Resources Manager at Color Graphics, Inc. In 2002, they joined Food Sciences Corporation as the Director of Human Resources and later became the Vice President of Human Resources in 2018. Laraine also worked as an Instructor at Rowan University starting in 2004. Laraine has been an active member of the Tri-State Human Resource Management Association and the Society for Human Resource Management since 1997, serving as the President of the former from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they have held various leadership roles within SHRM, including being the Membership Advisory Council Representative for the Northeast from 2017 to 2018. From 2014 to 2016, they served as the Executive Director of Garden State Council SHRM.

Laraine Knauss, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a specialization in HR from The Wharton School, which they attained from 1981 to 1985. Prior to that, Laraine attended Bridgeton High School, where they completed their high school education. Additionally, Laraine has obtained the certifications SHRM-SCP and SPHR from SHRM and HRCI, although the specific dates of their certification achievement are not provided.
