Shayna Teh has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Shayna started their career as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2003 and then moved on to KPMG Singapore as a Senior Associate Consultant from 2006 to 2009. Shayna later joined IBDC (M) as an Associate Director from 2009 to 2016. In 2013, Shayna became a Business Owner at SCHUHSTER, where they exported custom design men's shoes to London, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Shayna then ventured into the food industry and became a Restaurant Owner of Wiches, with three outlets for two years. In 2017, Shayna co-founded Food Market Hub, a company that provides a cloud-based procurement and inventory solution for F&B businesses. Shayna'srole there involves digitalizing back-end processes and converting procurement data into cost-managing insights to help SMEs make profitable decisions.
Shayna Teh completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Business Law from UNSW between 2000 and 2002. In 2005, they obtained the certification of Certified Practising Accountant from CPA Australia. Shayna then went on to become a Chartered Accountant Malaysia in 2006, after completing their certification from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. In 2009, Shayna obtained the Certified Financial Planner certification from the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM). In 2014, they enrolled in the University of the Arts London to pursue a degree in Footwear & Accessories Label.
