Stuart Katwikirize, PhD, serves as the Global Humanitarian Operations Manager at Food for the Hungry, Inc., a position held since September 2022. Previously, Stuart was the Lead Consultant at SAHARA Humanitarian & Disaster Resilience-Building Consult, where support was provided in humanitarian services. Stuart's extensive experience in disaster risk management includes serving as the Regional Head at Plan International, overseeing initiatives across various countries in the Middle East and Africa, and holding multiple roles at World Vision, including Regional Director and Senior Emergency Response Manager, contributing to significant humanitarian efforts in the region. Stuart's educational background includes a PhD in Community Capacity Building for Disaster Risk Reduction from The University of Huddersfield, along with a Master's Degree in Disaster Management from Cranfield University.
