Godfrey Ayena is an experienced program leader with a strong background in humanitarian and development work. Currently serving as Program Director at Food for the Hungry, Inc. since May 2024, Godfrey supports the Country Director in strategic leadership and program management for FH Uganda, while also enhancing the funding portfolio. Prior roles include Program Manager for Humanitarian and Nexus at CARE International, Multi CC Manager at Norwegian Refugee Council, and Project Director at Save the Children International. Godfrey has significant expertise in program quality oversight, external representation, and budget management, along with a solid educational foundation that includes a Master's degree in Business Administration specialized in project management from Sikkim Manipal University.
