Michelle Whitehead is an experienced accounting professional with a comprehensive background in financial management across various organizations. Currently serving as an Accountant at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan since September 2021, Michelle has previously held positions including Accounting Assistant at Energy Steel & Supply and Bookkeeper at Action Management Corporation/OI Partners. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baker College, Michelle's expertise encompasses budget management, payroll processing, accounts receivable, and grant reconciliation, alongside a strong proficiency in bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting. Michelle's career began in 1988 with WEYI TV, and since then, responsibilities have expanded to include financial oversight for multiple nonprofit and corporate entities.
