Derrick Gonzalez has held various roles in different companies throughout their work experience. Derrick started their career as an Account Specialist at Spire Parking, LLC., where they supervised the daily operations of multiple parking facilities and managed corporate and individual accounts. Derrick then transitioned to working as a Medicaid Billing Coordinator at Cottonwood Community Alternatives, Inc. for nearly seven years. Following that, they worked as a Ski Instructor at Vail Resorts for three years. Most recently, they have been working at Fondo as a Staff Accountant and is currently a Senior Strategic Accounting Associate.

Derrick Gonzalez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Colorado State University Global, from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Financial Services from Metropolitan State University of Denver, from 2008 to 2010. Derrick also attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2005 to 2007, studying Accounting and Finance. Derrick completed their high school education at Arvada West High School from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Leadership Foundations: Leadership Styles and Models from LinkedIn in January 2021, Influencing Others from LinkedIn in December 2020, and Leadership Foundations in 2013 also from LinkedIn.
