Andrii Chakov is an accomplished opera singer and baritone with extensive experience in various prestigious theaters. Since June 2019, Chakov has been affiliated with Oper Halle and the Fondazione Teatro di San Carlo since May 2022. Previous engagements include roles at Oper Leipzig from August 2017 to February 2020, and numerous performances at venues such as DomStufen-Festspiele in Erfurt, Theater Freiberg, Mittelsächsisches Theater & Philharmonie, and Deutsche Nationaltheater Weimar between 2017 and 2019. Chakov's formal education includes a degree from Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar (2016-2020) and earlier studies at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (2003-2008).
