Paolo Lago serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the World Health Organization since March 2017, focusing on clinical engineering and health technology management in Pavia. Lago is also a Board Member of the IFMBE Clinical Engineering Division since 2011 and has been the Clinical Engineering Director at Fondazione I.R.C.C.S. Policlinico San Matteo Pavia since July 1996. Prior to these roles, Lago worked as a researcher at Università di Pavia from November 1995 to June 1996. An alumnus of Università di Pavia, Lago holds a Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica and a PhD in Electronics and ICT.
