Mahesh Venkataraman

Mahesh Venkataraman has a diverse range of work experience in various technical and quality-related roles. Mahesh started their career at India Pistons Ltd in 1998, where they served as a Metallurgical Engineer in Quality Assurance. During their time there, they focused on process and quality control in cast iron and aluminum die casting foundries, as well as the development of quality improvement and cost reduction projects.

In 2005, Mahesh joined Lucas TVS as an Assistant Chief Engineer in Materials Technology. In this role, they headed the Materials Technology Department and was responsible for developing innovative materials and processes in various engineering fields, such as casting, forging, welding, and heat treatments. Mahesh also played a key role in reverse engineering imported components for indigenization.

In 2007, Mahesh moved to FOMAS Group, where they held several management positions. Mahesh started as a Manager in Materials and Process Engineering, overseeing tasks such as the preparation and approval of quality control plans, forging process sheets, and drawings. Mahesh then progressed to roles such as Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Sr. Deputy General Manager in the Technical and Quality System department. In these positions, they managed material and process engineering functions, conducted technical feasibility studies and cost estimations, and finalized technical and quality requirements with customers.

Most recently, Mahesh served as the General Manager of Technical and Quality Systems at FOMAS Group. In this role, they held the responsibility for overseeing engineering and quality systems across the organization.

Throughout their career, Mahesh has demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, material and process engineering, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality control, quality assurance, and quality engineering. Their experience spans industries such as aerospace, defense, oil and gas, power generation, and automotive.

Mahesh Venkataraman pursued their Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from PSG College of Technology during the period from 1994 to 1998.
