Iris A. possesses extensive experience in both healthcare and software engineering, currently serving as an Interdisciplinary Pixie at an undisclosed healthcare startup since October 2021. Previously, Iris held key roles such as Principal Software Engineer at Rivet, and Software Engineer at Fetch Softworks, where employment has continued since 2003. Additional relevant experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Yale School of Public Health and as a Physician Assistant in Psychiatry at Four Winds Hospital. Iris collaborated with the World Health Organization as a Software Engineering Consultant and contributed to clinical informatics at the Division of Clinical Informatics at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians.
