Irene Polo has a diverse work experience starting in 2014 as an Agroecology Intern at Florida International University. During this internship, they attended workshops on various topics and performed manual labor in the FIU Garden. Irene also prepared a workshop on pollination for children. In 2020, Irene joined Simple Solutions FS as a Web Developer and held this role until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Creative Technologist at Folklore Digital.

Irene Polo completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of Florida from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their International Baccalaureate Diploma from John A. Ferguson Senior High School from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications related to programming and web development, such as SQL Essential Training, Learning ECMAScript 6, React.js Essential Training, and others, from LinkedIn. The certifications were obtained between 2019 and 2020.
