Georgios Voulazeris began their work experience in 2013 as a Graduate Researcher (placement) at ARKeX. Georgios then worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham from December 2013 to May 2016. Following this, they joined Magnetic Shields Limited as a Senior Technician from October 2016 to December 2018. Since October 2019, Georgios has been working at FocalPoint, initially as a Graduate Sensor Fusion Engineer until May 2022, and currently as a Higher Sensor Fusion Engineer.

Georgios Voulazeris holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics - Ultracold Atoms from the University of Birmingham. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in VLSI Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
