Birkir Veigarsson is an accomplished entrepreneur and engineer with extensive experience in technology and product development. Currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Focalpay since June 2021 and the Owner of Stack Ventures since March 2021, Birkir has also co-founded Grace and ifdef. Previous roles include product management at Findity and COO at BlueAccess AB, where responsibilities encompassed end-to-end product and payment solution development. Early career positions involved project engineering for CO2 refrigeration systems at Energi & Kylanalys AB and IT consultancy at Facilia AB, among others. Birkir holds a Master of Science in Thermal Energy from the Technical University of Denmark and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands.
