Amanah Ramadiah, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience that spans different industries and roles. Amanah is currently working as the Data Science Lead (Asia) at FNA, a fast-growing analytics company specializing in Regulatory Technology and Supervisory Technology. In this role, they are responsible for mapping and monitoring complex financial networks, optimizing liquidity, and simulating operational and financial risks for clients that include major central banks, regulators, and financial institutions.

Prior to their role at FNA, Amanah worked as a Data Scientist at the same company where they made significant contributions to the development and implementation of their analytics platform.

Amanah has also held academic positions as an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Economics and Business, both at the Universitas Indonesia. In these roles, they have shared their expertise with students and contributed to the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields.

During their academic journey, Amanah gained valuable experience as a PhD Intern at the International Monetary Fund, where they were part of the Strategy Unit in the Strategy, Policy and Review Department. Their work focused on quantifying vulnerabilities in the global economy using a multiplex network approach.

Amanah also worked as a PhD Intern at the Bank of England in the Capital Markets Division, where they conducted research on modeling fire sale contagion in a network of common asset holdings between UK banks, UK open-ended investment funds, and UK insurance companies.

Before embarking on their PhD, Amanah gained experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Indonesia. During this time, they were a member of the Information Retrieval Lab and contributed to research and teaching in the field of computer science.

Amanah's early career included a role as a Summer Analyst at OpenGamma. In this position, they worked in the Quantitative Research Group, where they validated and backtested the new initial margin regulatory model for the Central Counterparty Clearing House. Amanah also reviewed the Standardized Approach method for calculating capital based on the Fundamental Review Trading Book.
