Nick Schilling has worked in the financial services industry since 2003. Nick began their career at Allianz Life as a Suitability Analyst and Sr. Operations Representative. In 2005, they were promoted to Sr. Suitability Analyst and Team Lead. In 2008, they moved to Personalized Brokerage Services, LLC as Chief Compliance & Suitability Officer. In 2012, they joined Advisors Excel as President of Securities Operations. In 2016, they were appointed to Chief Distribution Officer at AE Wealth Management, LLC, where they were responsible for building an in-house SEC registered investment advisor with 300+ advisors across the nation. In 2018, they founded Avant Wealth Management, an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm focused on high net worth retirement planning, wealth management and business consulting. In 2021, they became a Partner at Simplicity Group and in 2022, they were appointed CEO at FMT Solutions.

Nick Schilling received their MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in 2006, with a focus in Consulting/Strategic Management. Nick previously earned a BS in Business Administration from North Dakota State University in 2002.
