Tobias Dekkers is an accomplished investment officer currently serving at FMO - Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank since August 2023, focusing on private equity ventures. Prior to this role, Tobias spent nearly six years at PowerGen Renewable Energy, culminating as Chief Business Development Officer, and was instrumental in fundraising and business development aimed at transforming the African power sector with sustainable energy solutions. Previous experience includes roles as a business consultant in various sectors, including financial and solar, with positions at Adam Smith International and R.J. Trading/XSML Capital, as well as an analyst at Vattenfall, where Tobias specialized in gas and power market analysis. Additionally, experience as Treasurer for The Open State Foundation and an internship at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs further contributes to a diverse professional background.
