Rob van Zutphen has a vast work experience in the field of mechatronics and purchasing. Rob is currently the Managing Director at FMI Mechatronics since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Plant Manager at FMI from October 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining FMI, Rob worked at NTS Mechatronics where they held the position of Manager Operations from January 2014 to September 2019. Rob was responsible for new product introduction, production, supply chain management, customer service, and product engineering. Additionally, they served as the Purchase Manager & Supply Chain Manager at NTS from May 2006 to December 2013.

Rob's work experience also includes being a Strategic Buyer at frencken Mechatronics from February 2002 to May 2006, a Purchaser at Ruco MI Valkenswaard from May 1998 to February 2002, and a Purchaser (mechanical outsourcing) at CFS group from April 1997 to May 1998.

Rob van Zutphen completed a HBO+ degree in Procurement from NEVI opleidingen from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a HBO degree in Bedrijfskader from Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, they participated in Management Training at Avans University of Applied Sciences, although the dates are not provided.
