Charity Skipper started their work experience in 1994 at Bank of North Carolina, where they held various positions including Teller Supervisor, Consumer Lender, Branch Manager, Training Coordinator, Call Center Manager, and finally e-Banking Product Development Officer. Charity worked at Bank of North Carolina until 2015. In 1996, they also worked as a Family Service Case Worker at Davidson County Social Services for a period of two years. Charity then joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a Deposit Administration Manager, VP from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are working at F&M Bank of NC as a Deposit Services Officer, VP, starting from 2018.

Charity Skipper completed their high school education at Trinity High School in Trinity, NC, from 1989 to 1991, earning their High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled in Davidson County Community College from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities.
