Ismar Kovacevic, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the fields of molecular and cell biology, with extensive experience in managerial and research roles. Since December 2014, Ismar has served in various capacities at Flywheel Partners, including Partner, Senior Director, and Medical Writer. Prior experience includes a Research Scholar position at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where Ismar investigated neurodevelopmental processes in C. elegans, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship and Course Instruction role at Northeastern University, focusing on mechanotransduction. Ismar also has experience as an Analytical Chemistry Intern at Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals and EPIX Pharmaceuticals, enhancing clinical trial management and HPLC purification techniques. Ismar holds a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from Northeastern University and a BS in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
