Russel Pillai has been working in the business development field since 2014. Russel started as a Volunteer at Just For Kicks - India, then moved on to become an Operations Assistant at HotFut Sports (India) in 2018. In 2021, they were a Business Development Intern at BYJU'S, where they worked in generating quality leads for the sales team, pitched courses and successfully registered 500+ customers for the sales team. Currently, they are a Business Development Manager at both Flynaut and Intellipaat.

Russel Pillai is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the Institute Of Management Education Research and Training, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Zeal Education Societys College of Engineering & Research,Narhe, Tal.Haveli,Dist.Pune 41 in 2017. Russel also attended Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2012 to 2017. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in NPTEL and NPTEL MARKETING ANALYTICS in February 2022.
