Sergey Tovkach, PhD has a diverse work experience background. Sergey started their career in 2005 as an Embedded Software Engineer at TeѕhArt, where they were involved in the complete cycle of electronic device development. Sergey worked on schematic diagram, printed circuit board design, firmware, and software for client requirements. Sergey also contributed to device design and ergonomic solutions.

In 2007, Sergey joined Tula State University as a UAV developer and Aeronautical scientist, where they worked in the graduate school and served as the Chief of the research laboratory. Sergey'smain focus was on the development of hardware and firmware for UAVs.

From 2010 to 2016, Sergey worked at Vertical de Aviacion SAS as a Senior Embedded Developer and test bench developer. In this role, they provided service, support, and developed aeronautical simulators, test benches, and diagnostic tests for aircraft components and engines. Sergey also worked on laboratory equipment and aircraft measurement and coded communication systems.

Since 2015, Sergey has been working at Flyka as the CTO. Flyka is the first fully decentralized aircraft that eliminates failures through distributed computing and hot redundancy in all systems. Sergey plays a crucial role in this innovative project.

Sergey Tovkach, PhD, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering from Tula State University in 2005. Sergey then pursued a Master's degree in Automation and Control Equipments and Technologies from the same university from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Automation and Control Equipments and Technologies from Tula State University from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sergey Tovkach has acquired several certifications. In 2012, they received a certificate from OOA "West Metrology" for completing an exclusive course on the pattern (reference flowmeter) of aviation fuel and oil consumption. Sergey also obtained a certificate from the legal representative of OOA "West Metrology" allowing him to perform repairs and calibration of liquid and gas consumption gauges. Furthermore, they obtained a certificate enabling him to carry out calibration work in the unit HM-002, a liquid and gas consumption gauge.

In 2014, Sergey Tovkach acquired a professional improvement certification from the metrology service in the "Measurement Elements Verification / Calibration" program, from the Expert and Test Institute of Moscow, Russia. Sergey also completed training in "Calibration, Measurement, and Control of Information, Measure, and Control Systems," certified by the Normalization, Metrology, and Certification Academy in Moscow, Russia. Additionally, they obtained the title of Metrologist from Rostest USA in April 2014.
