John Joyce started their work experience in 2001 as a Research Technologist at Alstom, where they worked until 2002. John then joined CamSemi as a Senior Test Engineer from 2003 to 2010, designing test systems and power supply applications. In 2010, John founded Cambridge Test Solutions (CamTest), specializing in bespoke test systems for the semiconductor, electronics, and biotech industries. John served as the Owner/Director/Employee/Coffee Drinker/Coffee Maker, focusing on automating manual test processes. From 2020 onwards, John has been working at FLUSSO LIMITED as the Chief Test Engineer and Test Engineering Manager, responsible for in-house product test capability and overseeing the Test Engineering team's growth and test system architecture.

John Joyce completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (1st class) and a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. John then pursued a Ph.D. in Power Electronics at the same institution.
