Allan Juul Nielsen is a highly experienced paint scientist currently employed at Flügger A/S since March 2016, contributing to the Innovation Laboratory focused on future paint systems. Prior to this role, Allan held positions at ROCKWOOL International as a Senior Development Engineer from May 2014 to February 2016, where responsibilities included mechanical and physical testing across various product properties. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Sika, first as a Market Field Engineer offering technical solutions, and later as a Project Manager overseeing global developments in polyurethane adhesives. Allan's career also encompasses work at Hempel A/S from March 1996 to 2005, where responsibilities ranged from developing environmentally friendly antifouling paints to synthesizing binders for paints. Allan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Chemistry from the Technical University of Denmark, completed in 1996.
