Alexander Jason Elks serves as the Regional President for Asia Pacific at FLSmidth since January 2023, focusing on leading the Mission Zero Agenda aimed at achieving zero emissions by 2030 in the resources sector. Prior to this role, Jason held a consulting position at Mining and Aviation from January 2010 to April 2023, specializing in leadership development, safety, environmental commitment, and organizational culture. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Business Improvement at Skytrans Airlines, Managing Director at Moreton Resources Ltd, and various senior HR roles at Rio Tinto, Lihir Gold Limited, Zinifex, and OneSteel Manufacturing. Jason holds a Master's degree in Management and Human Resources from CQUniversity, obtained between 2006 and 2008.
