Michael Brantley started their work experience in 1990 as a Systems Administrator at Rice University. Michael then worked as a Systems Programmer at Princeton University from 1992 to 1995. Following that, they worked as a Systems Manager at D. E. Shaw & Co. from 1995 to 1998. Michael later joined KBC Financial Products as a Systems Manager from 1998 to 2006. From 2006 until 2021, they worked as a Quant Systems Manager at D. E. Shaw & Co. Currently, they are working as the CTO at Flox since October 2021.

Michael Brantley attended Rice University from 1986 to 1990, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
