Wes Payne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Wes is currently employed at Flowroute, a BCM One Company, as a Senior Software Development Engineer since May 2020. Prior to this, from September 2018 to May 2020, Wes worked as a Lead Podcast Content Engineer at Linux Academy. Before that, they were a Software Development Engineer at Marchex from October 2014 to September 2018. Wes also has experience as a self-employed Web Developer from September 2013 to October 2014, specializing in Django/Python and assisting customers with cloud migration. In addition, Wes served as the Oversize Department Lead at Applied Digital Imaging in 2012. Wes started their career at Western Washington University, where they worked as a Computation Physics Researcher from January 2010 to August 2012 and as a Tech Center Lead from September 2008 to June 2011. Overall, Wes has a strong background in software development, web development, and leadership roles.
