Scott Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Scott began their career at Facilities Resource Management in 1995 as a Systems & Management Analyst. Scott then moved on to Deloitte in 1998, where they worked as a Senior Auditor until 2001.
In 2001, Scott joined HJ Heinz, where they held various finance roles. Scott started as a Senior Accountant in Corporate Accounting before becoming an Audit Manager in 2003, responsible for audits in the America's region. Scott then transitioned to Manager roles in Finance, Business Planning, and Logistics, where they provided financial planning and analysis support, managed budgets, and presented reporting packages.
In 2014, Scott joined Flowers Foods & Subsidiaries as the Director of Financial Analysis, Procurement, and Risk. In this role, they led the finance team supporting the Chief Risk Officer and managed over $2.0 billion in annual spend.
Most recently, Scott has taken on the position of VP of Procurement COE at Flowers Foods & Subsidiaries, starting in October 2020.
Scott Nichols earned a BA in Economics from Gettysburg College from 1990 to 1994. Scott then pursued a Masters degree in Accounting at West Virginia University from 1996 to 1997. Lastly, they completed an MBA in Marketing, Strategy, and Finance from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University from 2008 to 2011.
