David Thompson has extensive leadership experience in the transportation technology sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Flowbird Group since March 2021, while also holding the title of Director and General Manager at Flowbird Australia Pty Ltd since 2018. Thompson previously worked at Parkeon Pty Ltd - Australia from April 2009 to March 2021 as the Director and Transportation Systems Manager, overseeing multi-modal ticketing systems. Earlier roles include Programme Manager at Parkeon (formerly Wayfarer) from 2007 to 2009 and at Wayfarer Group from 2003 to 2007, as well as Project Manager at Deverill Limited from 2001 to 2003.
