Hermien Smeets-Flier is an accomplished finance executive currently serving as CFO at Flow Traders since July 2023, overseeing the firm's control functions including Finance & Tax, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Investor Relations, and ESG. Previously, Hermien held the position of CFRO at Achmea Investment Management from April 2020 to September 2022, managing financial, operational, IT, legal, and risk aspects for a team of 200 professionals. Hermien also contributed as a Non-Executive Director at LIMOSS and as Deputy Chair of the Finance Committee for the Lloyd's Market Association.
